Instructions For Downloading Files From Our Site

NOTE: If you did not choose to create an account during the checkout process when you purchased your download, you will not be able to download using these instructions and you will need to contact us for special instructions in order to perform the download.

1. Make sure you are logged into our website using your account and password before you attempt to download your video(s).

2. Once you are signed in, you should see a new box show up called "DOWNLOADS" The box should appear on the right in about the same area of the page as the "Your Account" box you used to log in to your account. The "DOWNLOADS" box will have instructions and a link you can click to start your download. Please note that you must right-click the download links and then select "Save Target As..." or "Save Link As..." to begin the download process. The language may vary a bit depending in the internet browser program you are using, but they should all allow you to right-click and perform a save of the file to your computer.

Mac users: We presume you know how to download from a link, but we are not Mac users here and know very little about them.

NOTE: If you have placed more than one order for download products, you may only see the link(s) for your most recent order in the "DOWNLOADS" box. In order to access the links for other download orders you have placed, you may click the "View My Order History" link in the "Account Info" box which should appear directly below the "DOWNLOADS" box. You can then click the "VIEW" button for each order you have placed and you will then see the download links for that order in the "DOWNLOADS" box as well as another link you can use just below the information for that order.

After You Download The Files From Our Site

After the file(s) have completed downloading, perform the following steps to view the video or pattern books.

1. Locate the file(s) you have just downloaded to your PC. The number of files you downloaded will depend on how many video volumes you ordered. Our files always start with the letters LCN and end with .exe, for example: LCN-V1.wmv, LCN-P2.wmv, etc.

2. Double-click on the file(s) with your left mouse button.

3.The video should begin to play on your screen. If not, you probably need to download the Windows Media Player, which you can get for free by clicking HERE.

4. If the video appears too small on your screen, you can increase the size by right-clicking on the video when it is playing and selecting Video Size.

5. If you have problems with the downloaded video, you may view our technical help page by clicking HERE.

Please note that your credit card or bank statment will show a charge for from "Foxmead" or "Foxmead Enterprises."

If you had problems and were not able to download the video, please contact us using our contact page HERE or give us a call and we will make sure you get your copy of the video or a full refund.

Downloadable Products Explained

If you are new to the Internet, you may not be familiar with the world of downloadable products. These products are also sometimes called digital products.

A downloadable, or digital product is a bit of computer code that resides inside a file. If you browse the contents of your computer with Windows Explorer or by double-clicking your My Computer icon and clicking around a bit, you will discover thousands of files residing on your computer hard drive. They may have names like config.sys, autoexec.bat or boot.ini and other strange-sounding names.

Without these files, your computer would be nothing more than an expensive paper weight!

These files contain the digital instructions that enable your computer to perform the various functions it is capable of. Like displaying a picture on your screen, balancing your checkbook, playing music or enjoying a game of solitaire.

The Internet Changed Everything!

The Internet revolutionized the world of computers by allowing these files to be exchanged between all the computers that are connected to it. For example, someone in England could write a useful computer program and then easily share it with everyone connected to the Internet by making it available for download.

A download is when you copy a file from another computer on the internet to your own computer. The file then resides on your computer and is available for your use whenever you want to use it. Depending, of course, on copyright and other applicable laws and regulations.

Our instructional video products have been made available for our customers to download to their own computers. They can then watch the videos on their own computers any time they choose. The videos will display on the computer screen much the same way a video movie can be viewed with a VCR or DVD player, including the options to pause, rewind and fast forward.

Why Wait If You Can Get It Now!

What makes downloadable products so unique is the ability to get them now. When you purchase a downloadable product, you will go to a special web page that provides instructions that allows you to begin downloading the file to your own computer immediately. You do not have to wait for a physical shipment to arrive at your door like you would when you order a CD or DVD.

You can begin using your downloadable product as soon as the download is complete!

The time it takes to download a digital product will vary considerably depending on the size of the product and the speed and quality of your Internet connection. You will not be able to download any of our digital products unless you have a high-speed (also called broadband) Internet connection. Typical high-speed Internet connections are cable modem, fiber optic (like Verizon FiOS) and DSL connections. If you are required to dial a telephone number each time you want to connect to the Internet, you probably do not have a high-speed connection and will not be able to download our products. For customers that do not have a high-speed connection, our products are available on DVD and CD as well.

Sounds Complicated But Really Isn't

The process of downloading and accessing these downloadable products may sound difficult and intimidating at first, but once you have done it, you will become comfortable with it and appreciate how exciting it is to be able to purchase something and have it arrive right away so you can begin enjoying it without waiting days for a delivery to arrive.

IMPORTANT: Please understand that all video download links have an expiration date. This is done to help protect our products. When you order a download, you are ordering a video file that is provided for your use and is to be stored on your computer. You are not purchasing the right to a permanent download link. However, we realize that files are sometimes lost due to computer problems, and we will gladly give you access to any downloads you have purchased in the past so you may download them again. This is something we have done many times and will continue to do, so you do not have to be concerned that the download expiration date on your original order.

As always, use our Contact Us link on the left to contact us if you have any questions about any of our products.

We are here to help!
